The University of East Anglia, UK has unveiled its groundbreaking post-graduate program, the MA in Medical and Health Humanities. It is offered by the prestigious Norwich Medical School. This innovative course aims to foster a comprehensive understanding of health and healthcare. This will be done by bridging the gap between medicine, health sciences and the humanities.

The course is specifically designed for students with diverse backgrounds in humanities, social science, medicine and professional health-related fields. This course will provide students with a unique humanistic lens to examine the relationship between medicine, health and society.

The Master in Medical and Health Humanities encompasses a wide range of topics. The topics include narratives of healthcare, illness and disability, and applied arts and health. Students have the flexibility to pursue the program as either a one-year full-time course or a part-time course spanning two years.

The course welcomes domestic and international students, with the annual intake commencing in September each year. Additionally, the university is offering a full scholarship worth £19,800 (approx 20 Lakhs )to eligible students.
