Study Abroad: New Opportunities for Indian Students, King’s University College Announces International Student Award
Indian students can now apply for King’s International Student Award and avail of up to INR 19.37 Lakh in financial aid.

King’s University College of Canada has introduced the King’s International Student Award. It is a financial support program for eligible students who commence their studies with the university in 2023 and beyond. David C. Malloy, President of King’s University, and other officials decided to launch this award. After the officials visited India they finalised the decision 

The maximum value of this award is 32,000 Canadian dollars (INR 19.37 Lakh). Moreover, the award is intended to encourage and support Indian students in pursuing higher education in Canada. It is also a significant step towards strengthening Indo-Canadian cross-border relations, and fostering academic and cultural exchange, says the University.

Benefits of the Student Award

The maximum value of the student award is 6,500 Canadian dollars (INR 3.93 Lakh)per year (up to four years). It is for students accepted into the Bachelor of Management and Organizational Studies. Furthermore, for those accepted into other degree programs, It is up to 8,000 Canadian dollars (INR 4.84 Lakh)per year. Moreover, students must meet the eligibility criteria and maintain full-time registration at University each year to qualify for the award.

the university also indicated that eligible students may qualify for the King’s International Entrance Scholarship and Continuing Scholarship. Moreover, this will be based on their final average. Dr David said, “ King’s University believes in a strong social ethos for culturally enriching and inclusive learning. The launch of the International Student Award stems from the same ideology to bring diverse minds to the campus and nourish the leaders of tomorrow.

On the other hand, Dr Tracy Cunningham Director of Enrolment Services and Registrar talked about financial aid. She said, “The new King’s International Student Award is a testament to King’s University College’s commitment to attracting and supporting talented and ambitious students from India“.
