Indiana is focusing on expanding their access to credit-earning opportunities for all Indiana students

Eric Holcomb, Indiana Gov, has taken steps to sign HEA1001. This will provide access to USD 5.6 million in funding for the students. So that they can leverage the benefits of advanced coursework exams, including the Cambridge Advance program. 

The legislature has enhanced funding by more than $400k since last year. Reflecting the overall commitment of the firm to expand the opportunities for international students. 

This way, all students across Indiana will be able to access as well as receive valuable college credit. Further, with the help of beneficial programs such as Cambridge. 

Students are encouraged to enrol on as many Cambridge exams and courses as possible, where Indiana would fund three of the course exams. 

Thanks to the funding, Cambridge will be able to stay on par with the other academic course exams in Indiana. Funds apart from the tuition fees that have been paid for the students and consider professional development for the teachers of advanced coursework.

Bob Behning, the state representative of the Education Committee, stated that they have plans to expand the access. So, that they can include Cambridge International A and AS Level exams to make sure the students can go through additional opportunities. Also, to focus on college-credit-bearing courses. 

Students Can Go Through Cambridge International Exams 

He also stated that the next budget of the state will allow the students to participate in three Cambridge international exams each year. This way students can focus on the exams without worrying about financial barriers. 

After the signing of HEA1001, Indiana students can access high-quality Cambridge International exams to earn beneficial college credit scores, stated Mark Cavone, Regional Director of Cambridge International North America. 

Schools from over 130 countries can leverage the benefits of Cambridge International programs, including the Cambridge Pathway. The stages of the pathway are built in such a way that they would help the learners develop new skills.
