Study in Thailand: Fully Funded CGI Post-graduate Scholarship Open for International Students

The Chulabhorn Graduate Institute (CGI) is offering postgraduate scholarships to international students. The scholarships aim to employ interactive teaching methods used in the leading educational institutions to produce leaders and thinkers who would contribute to the sustainable development in their country. 

At present, the CGI scholarships are available to students wanting to pursue M.A in Applied Biological Sciences. That is, Environmental Toxicology, Environmental Health, and Chemical Sciences. 

However, only 15 scholarships are available to international applicants.  The CGI courses would cover the 6 weeks refresher courses and the two year master’s degree programme. The deadline for the application is 30 September,2023.

CGI Postgraduate Scholarship Eligibility 

The CGI scholarships are granted on the basis of merit. However, applicants must fulfill the following eligibility requirements.

• International students below the age of 30 
• Additionally, the applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum GPA of 2.75.
• The Bachelor’s degree of the applicant must be either in sciences (Biology/chemistry/molecular biology/biological sciences/environmental sciences), or medical sciences (medical technology/medicines /pharmacy/pharmaceutical sciences)
• However, applicants who have experience in scientific laboratory research are encouraged to apply. Students who have completed their undergraduate degree from other relevant fields are also eligible 
• Must have demonstrated English language proficiency. That is, cleared (IELTS/TOEFL)
• Additionally, the applicant must also provide an SOP, and medical history report

CGI Postgraduate Scholarship Benefits 

The benefits of the CGI scholarships are as follows:

• The scholarship would cover the tuition fees of the student including the laboratory fees, enrollment fee, credit and thesis fees, and expenses for the production of thesis documents.
• Moreover, it would cover the travel expenses, accommodation expenses, and health insurance, visa fees
• Relocation allowance, first settlement allowance, and monthly stipend would be provided to deserving students
