Study Abroad: Deadline Extended for Kingdom of Morocco Scholarships: Apply Before 9th June 2024 

The Government of the Kingdom of Morocco provides 10 scholarships for the academic year 2024-25. The scholarship supports Indian students who want to enrol in a Bachelor’s program at a public Moroccan higher education institution. Some eligible courses include paramedical studies, medical studies, commerce and accounting studies, veterinarian and agricultural sciences, engineering and technology sciences, veterinarian and agricultural sciences and architecture. The scholarship is distributed based on scholarships in the Senior Secondary Examination or the 12th board examination. The last date to apply for these scholarships was on  15th May 2024. However, the deadline has been extended. Now you can apply by  9th June 2024.

Kingdom of Morocco Scholarships Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for the Kingdom of Morocco Scholarships is as follows:

• You must hold a high school diploma (of 2024 or 2023), Moreover, your grades must be Very Good, Good, or Fairly Good.
• There is an age limit. However, it depends on the institution. Generally, the age limit is between 19 and 23 years of age.
• Those who are applying for a Master’s need to have a bachelor’s degree with a ‘Good’ grade.
• French is the working and teaching language of the country. Therefore, applicants who do not know French must enter a language programme. At the end of the language programme, they will have to take a language test.
• Applicants must submit relevant documents and submit the application form before the deadline

Kingdom of Morocco Scholarships Benefits 

There are several benefits of the Kingdom of Morocco Scholarships. They are:

• An amount of 750. Dirhams or USD 75 is given per month for 12 months 
• Additionally, the policy covers accommodation expenses. However, applicants must file separate applications for this coverage.
• The policy also covers the student’s medical expenses (For example, reimburses medical expenses and arranges final evacuation to the home country in case of serious illness, etc).
• Master’s or Doctorate students can benefit from a lump sum aid for the printing cost of a dissertation.
