PTE Essay Topic - It is argued that getting married before finishing school or getting a job is not a good choice.

Q- It is argued that getting married before finishing school or getting a job is not a good choice. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Ans- In today’s society, the decision to get married before completing education or securing employment is a topic of debate. Some argue that it is not a wise choice, while others hold a different opinion. From my perspective, I concur with the notion that getting married before finishing school or getting a job is not a prudent choice, and I will elucidate my stance in this essay.

First and foremost, completing one’s education and securing employment are crucial milestones in an individual’s life. Education equips individuals with knowledge, skills, and critical thinking abilities, which are essential for personal growth and career advancement. Without proper education, individuals may face challenges in finding well-paying jobs and pursuing their desired careers. Additionally, securing employment provides individuals with financial stability, which is vital for a successful marriage. Financial strain can put unnecessary stress on a marriage, leading to conflicts and difficulties in maintaining a healthy relationship.

Furthermore, getting married before completing education or securing employment can hinder personal growth and limit opportunities. Marriage often requires individuals to take on responsibilities, such as starting a family and managing household expenses. These responsibilities can be demanding and time-consuming, making it difficult for individuals to focus on their education or career development. It may also limit the opportunities for further education or professional advancement, as individuals may have to prioritize their marital responsibilities over their personal aspirations.

Moreover, marrying early may result in a lack of life experience and maturity, which are essential for building a strong and lasting marriage. Marriage requires individuals to make important decisions, handle conflicts, and manage responsibilities. Without adequate life experience and maturity, individuals may struggle to cope with the challenges that come with marriage, leading to strained relationships and potential marital breakdowns.

In conclusion, I believe that getting married before finishing school or getting a job is not a prudent choice. Completing education and securing employment is crucial for personal growth, financial stability, and future prospects. Marrying early may hinder personal growth, limit opportunities, and result in a lack of life experience and maturity. It is important for individuals to prioritize their education and career goals before embarking on the journey of marriage to build a strong foundation for a successful and fulfilling life together.
