Describe an activity that you do after school/work.

Q- Describe an activity that you do after school/work.

Ans: After coming back from work, I normally indulge in practices that help me calm my thoughts. Such activities usually entail listening to music, meditating for an hour, or taking a lengthy walk in the park to get some fresh air.

Indulging in activities that are relaxing in nature helps me cope with the stress that my mind and body incur after a long day at work. This also allows me time to recuperate so that I may return to work the next day with full vigour and vivacity. When I get home I reflect and introspect on my actions throughout the day. This allows me to reflect on my shortcomings and the errors that I made over the day. I then identify my flaws and work hard to rectify them so that I don’t fall short the following time. Introspection of one’s actions, in my opinion, is the finest approach to correct one’s mistakes and be better prepared for future situations.

Once I am done with my introspection, I tend to write. I keep a journal of the day’s activities, my mistakes that could have been prevented, my sentiments, my opinions on many issues, and the steps I want to take in the near future. Maintaining a journal allows me to clear my mind while also streamlining my thoughts and creating a feasible foundation for me to work on in the future. Aside from that, I make it a point to read before going to bed. Even if I don’t have the energy to read a lot of pages, I try to read at least ten to fifteen pages. Reading, in my opinion, is the best approach to expand my knowledge and sharpen my thinking.

That being said, following and keeping to such a regimen after work not only helps me recover from the weariness induced by the hectic day but also allows me to examine and correct my weaknesses for the future. Journaling allows me to communicate my thoughts and emotions while also planning my future moves. Finally, reading broadens my knowledge, sharpens my thinking, and adds value to my life.
