• You must also have arranged return transportation for you and your family members who are staying with you in Canada
• Moreover, you must be willing to obey the laws of Canada.
• Must be healthy. Therefore, you are required to get a medical examination
• You must also prove to the consular officer that you will leave the country when the permit expires.

Canada Student Visa Requirements: Documentation

The following are the Canada student visa documentation requirements: 

• You must submit the offer letter from the university 
• Those who have been conditionally accepted need to take the prerequisite courses 
• Provincial attestation letter or territorial attestation letter
• Provide proof of identification. You can submit a valid passport or travel document and passport-size photographs.
• Proof of finances. For this, you can submit proof of Guaranteed Investment Certificate from a participating Canadian financial institution, proof of student education loan, bank statements from the last 4 months. Proof of payment of housing fees, and tuition fees, a letter from the person giving you money, etc is acceptable.
• Additionally, you need to submit proof of clearing the medical examination
• A letter of explanation that helps the officer to understand your goals. The letter of explanation must include the reasons why you want to study in Canada, and that you understand your responsibilities as a student 
• Minors require a custodian. For this reason, you need to submit the  Custodianship Declaration form. 
• Any additional documentation required by the visa office in the home country

English Canada Student Visa Requirement

To get an offer letter form a Designated Learning Institution (DLI) you need to meet the English language requirement. For this you need to clear an English language test. Some of the acceptable exam scores accepted in Canada are the IELTS examination and the TOEFL examination. The minimum score acceptable for these exams are provided below:

Canada Student Visa Application Process 

As a rule of thumb, you need to apply before going to Canada. The application can only be submitted online. That is, even if you are outside or already in Canada. The paper applications are only accepted of applicants who have a disability, or are refugees. The application process is as follows:

• Ensure that you meet the Canada student visa requirements. You can download the documentation checklist from below. 
• Next, visit the official website of the Government of Canada.  Next, you can go to the Canada study permit page and click on apply now.
• Enter the details and read the instructions provided
• Lastly, create your online account and sign in. The eTA or visa is issued automatically at the time of study permit. No separate application there for the same.
• You can visit the IRCC portal, enter the invitation code, and complete the online application
• Pay the visa fees, and wait for the visa processing 
• Once your application has been processed you will be informed of the decision regarding your visa application.

Canada Student Direct Stream 

The Canada student direct stream allows students from certain countries to apply for the visa and get faster results. The Student Direct Stream (SDS) was launched by the  Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada. Indian students will come under the SDS stream. However, those applying through the SDS stream must know that additional documentation are required.Under the SDS stream a visa application is processed within 20 days.

If your Canada student visa application is rejected. Then the only option in front of you is to reapply. Identify the reasons for the Canada student visa rejection. The visa rejection reason is generally mentioned in the refusal letter. Check the same and correct it. Reapplication is only acceptable if your situation has changed, or you have new information to submit. An appeal against the visa decision is not possible.
