It has been a long time since we met, and I was missing you, so I thought of writing this letter to you. Yesterday I witnessed a road accident, and it was brutal. Luckily, both drivers survived it. This concerns me about the condition of the roads. The conditions of roads in India could be better. There are a lot of potholes, the roads are raw and unmaintained, and nobody cares about them. The situation worsens during the monsoon when it becomes difficult to differentiate between potholes because of the water logging in them. This often leads to a lot of accidents. A lot of times, I have faced this danger. Nowadays, everybody should take a lot of care while going out on the roads. Be it commuting, going on a trip, or any other purpose, care and precautions need to be taken while travelling on the road. I hope that you drive carefully. Remember that life is invaluable, whereas a helmet costs only a few bucks. So, don’t compromise on safety, and definitely wear a good helmet on the road. And keep an open eye for the bad roads, this will help you stay safe out there. My exams have recently ended, so I will soon visit you. And then we will go for an outing together. We will take a lot of pictures and have lots of talks, too. When you are free, give me a call, and we will plan the outing over the phone. Till then, take care and give my regards to your parents.
