Dear Saloni,
I hope that you and your family are in great health. I am good here too. I heard from your mother that you failed one of the subjects in your recent exams. I was concerned that you might be feeling down; hence, I thought of writing this letter to you.

It is not a big deal, and try to not let it affect you. During this phase, every student has seen some time in his or her life. It is just a little blip on your journey, not something to be worried about. Just keep in mind that you should not slouch back because of it. If you have failed a subject, make sure that you outperform the next time. Only step back so that you can regain your energy to bounce back and take a giant leap. I have known you since your childhood, and I, along with your parents, aware of your potential. We know that great things are waiting for you in the future. Just focus on that and keep your mind positive. I know that you might be feeling disappointed, which is okay. Just snap out of it and don’t let it consume you.

We are all with you and for you whenever you need us. Don’t let this failure of yours define you. You are the best! I hope that I was able to cheer you up. When my schedule gets a little easier, I will come to visit you, and we will have fun together and plan an outing too. Till then, take care of yourself and give my regards to your parents.

Your loving friend,
Saransh.

Dear Palak,
I hope that this letter finds you and your family in great health. I am good here too. I heard from your sister that you failed in one of your subjects in SA-2. I was worried about you and wanted to check on you. I hope that you are not down because of this.

Don’t worry, this is just a tiny spot on the great sheet of your life. It is not something to be worried about. I have known you my entire life, and I know the potential that you have. So clearly, something might have affected you or bothered you that you failed one subject. Just hold on, and it will be alright. Every student has at least once been in a situation similar to yours, so don’t be sad. I know that you might be slightly disappointed at the moment, and that is alright. Just don’t let that disappointment drag you into feeling hopeless and worthless. You are such a great student and have always gotten great grades, so be positive about yourself and have confidence. I know that next time, you will outperform everyone in your class. You have got what it takes to bounce back from a slight fall.

I hope that you will feel better after reading this letter. If you want to talk about anything, call me; I am always there for you. We all are with you. Once you are free, come to my house to stay for a few days. You will feel refreshed. In the meantime, take good care of yourself and cheer up. I hope to see you soon.

Your loving friend,
Gautami.
