Minimum age 3 years but less than 4 years as of 31st March 2024. (i.e., children born between 1st April 2020 to 31st March 2021 are eligible).

Points Considered While Providing Admission
The school considers the location of a child or the distance of the child’s home from the school before admitting students:
- Within 5 km of the school (70 points)
- 5 km to 8 km (50 points)
- Beyond 8 km (40 points)
These points are known as ‘Parameter Points’.
Criteria for Siblings and Parents
- If one of the twins gets admitted, then the second child receives 20 points for a sibling.
- For an Alumni of any DAV School, the school gives 10 points

Instructions For Online Registration For Nursery Admission (General Category 2024-25)
Following are the instructions for online registration in DL DAV Model School, Shalimar Bagh, Delhi.
For online registration:
- Click on the ‘Registration link’ to start online registration.
- Complete the registration form as directed.
- Click on ‘Submit’ to complete the online process. You will receive a registration no. on successful submission. Please take a printout of both i.e. the Registration Form and receipt of Rs.25/-. Bring the printout of the Registration Form on the day of verification of your documents.
Note: Do not submit the printout of the Registration Form before the day of verification of the documents.
- Paste the required photographs (father, mother and child) on the copy of the Registration Form and bring this form and e-receipt along with the required documents. (as per Annexure B) to school on the day of verification.
For offline registration:
- Contact the School Fee counter on all working days between 8:30 am to 11.30 am.
- Complete the registration form as directed.
- Submit the filled Registration form and registration slip along with the required documents
- (as per Annexure B) to the fee counter.
Seats under General and EWS/DG Categories
Here is the seat distribution:
- General Category: 55% of total seats
- Management Quota: 20% of total seats
- Seats under EWS/DG Quota: 25% of total seats
