Edudel Admission Nursery 2024-2025: Merit List (Released), Eligibility, Schedule 

Education plays a key role in a student’s life. Admission to a recognized school is the prime motto of every parent. The Delhi Directorate of Education which comes under the education ministry Rudraksh is responsible for managing the public school system in the city. It is considered the India’s largest school education system. The Government of NCT (National Capital Territory), Delhi has the authority to offer free education to students of Delhi belonging to the EWS/DG category in privately recognized schools via Edudel admission.

These admissions are for kindergarten, PG, Nursery, pre-primary, and first-class students. As it stands, the Edudel Admissions 2024-25 for Nursery, aimed at providing education to economically weak and physically challenged students. The registration starts on December 2023 and will most probably end in the same month. It’s now stated that The Delhi Directorate of Education (DoE) shall close the Edudel admissions 2024-25 on March 2024. A range of notifications such as the first merit list has been released. Delhi Nursery Edudel Admission 2024-2025: Notification  

It has been notified that EWS/DG category students and children with a disability be provided with 25% of the reservation of seats in all private unaided recognized schools at pre-primary, pre-school, and/or Class 1 level. This is defined under the RPWD Act, 2016. Following the release of notification that mentioned the nursery Edudel admission 2024-25 on November 2023, the registration soon began for nursery admissions in almost 2,000 private schools in Delhi. 

Thereafter, the first merit list was released for nursery admission in January 2024. Schools were to paste the EWS admission list Lottery Draw Result on their notice board, while parents were directed to check the merit list on the respective notice boards of the schools. Further, parents whose children’s names were on the merit list, are invited to be updated with the schedule of the nursery admissions. They are also provided with the opportunity to ask questions and resolve all their queries.

Schedule of Nursery Edudel Admission 2024-2025

Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria shall be as per the age of the child as of 31 March 2024. The same is highlighted below.

Documents Required 

Next, there are certain documents that are required for the admission/application process. Check the document details below. 

1. The Aadhar Card of one of the guardians must be submitted. 
2. Along with the aforementioned, the child’s Aadhar Card is also required.
3. A recent passport-size photograph of the child should be added. 
4. Additionally, the Guardian’s recent passport-size photograph should also be added. 
5. A family photograph is required as well. 
6. Residential Proof of Delhi.
7. A birth certificate is of utmost importance. 
8. Further, the Medical Fitness Certificate is an additional document that is required.

Steps to Check Nursery Edudel Admission 2024-2025 First Merit List 

The steps to check the merit list of Edudel admission 2024- 25 are listed below. 

1. First, you need to visit the official website of the authority body, Directorate of Education, Delhi: https://www.edudel.nic.in/.
2. You will see the home page getting opened on the screen. 
3. Hover over the latest notification section on the homepage. 
4. Then, you are directed to find the link to EWS DG School 1st Merit List 2024. 
5. Click on the link. 
6. Fill in your name, and DOB, and click submit. 
7. Now, you will see the EWS Lottery Draw Result on the screen. 
8. Finally, save the result and download the merit PDF.
