WB SET Application Process
Candidates looking for a job as a professor in a college or university can apply online on the official website of the West Bengal College Service Commission (WBCSC) at https://wbcsc.org.in/. Candidates can follow the steps given below to successfully apply for the exam.
- Visit the official website of the West Bengal College Service Commission mentioned above.
- Click on ‘Registration’ and enter your name and other details to complete the registration on the WBCSC website.
- You will receive an email, with a login ID and password.
- Login using that ID and password and click on ‘WB SET’.
- A new tab will open where you can enter all your details.
- Upload your documents, passport-size photo, and signature.
- Pay the application fee of INR 1000 for candidates in the General category.
- Pay the application fee online using your credit card/ debit card/net banking.
- Submit your application form and after that, you will receive a confirmation email stating that your application is successfully completed.
WB SET Eligibility
Candidates should fulfil all the eligibility criteria as given by the conducting authorities. For candidates who do not possess the required eligibility, their application form will not be accepted. The eligibility criteria include – education qualification, age limit and nationality.

WB SET Exam Pattern

The admit card is an important document, as it contains information like the exam date and venue, candidates’ names and other details. The admit card for the WB SET will be released by the West Bengal College Service Commission before the exam.

- Click on download Admit Card.
- Login by using your ID and password.
- A new tab will open displaying your admit card on the screen.
- Candidates are advised to carefully check all the details mentioned on the admit card.
- Take a printout of it.
While appearing for the WB SET written exam, candidates have to bring their admit cards with them. Without the admit card, no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Candidate should possess a Master’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks.
