Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have plans to apply for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test exam need to fulfil the Karnataka PGCET eligibility criteria. A certain educational qualification, age limit and other eligibility are mandatory to fulfil for being eligible to apply to this exam. This exam is conducted for all those candidates who wish to get admission in PG courses such as M.Tech/MBA/M.E./M.A. degrees. Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria 2024 for ME/M.Tech/M.Arch (Full Time)

Education Qualification: Each applicant must hold a graduate degree that qualifies from an accredited government institution. First preference will be given to those who have a valid GATE score. For SC/ST and OBC applicants, qualifying marks needed to be at least 45 per cent in order to be considered for the same. General candidates, however, require a minimum of 50 per cent

Experience: To be qualified, a person must have three years’ worth of job experience as of July 31, 2023. The applicant must work for a company that is located no more than 40 km from the college campus. This applies to all applicants who plan to enrol in part-time courses.

Karnataka PGCET Eligibility Criteria for ME/M.Tech/M. Arch (Part-Time)

In order to be eligible for these programs, one must check the following eligibility criteria. One must go through all the parameters. 

Education Qualification: Each applicant must hold a degree from a known university. The candidate must also have an authorised GATE score, which will give them priority. For SC/ST and OBC applicants, the minimum required grade is 45 per cent. While 50 per cent of the general category must be eligible.

Karnataka PGCET MBA Eligibility (Full/Part Time)

Qualification: After finishing their intermediate, interested students must make sure they have a three-year graduate degree from an accredited university. Candidates from the general category must have received a score of 50 per cent, while those from the SC/ST and OBC categories must have received a score of 45 per cent

Experience: The candidate must have at least three years of work experience as of July 31, 2023, in order to be eligible for the same. The candidate should have worked within 40 km of the college campus, as was previously indicated.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 MCA Eligibility (Full/Part Time)

For any candidate to get admission, it is necessary for one to satisfy the following eligibility criteria. The below-mentioned points are for MCA (both full and part-time).

Qualification: In order to be eligible for this course, the candidate must make sure that they have a degree of at least three years from a well-known university. Students belonging to the SC/ST and OBC background should have scored 45 per cent marks. While people from the general category should have scored 50 per cent. 

Keep in mind, the PGCET eligibility criteria 2024 clearly specify that only candidates residing in Karnataka are eligible for reservation. (This clause applies to all the courses.)
