The applications for State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) have already been released. The exam is conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) for the posts of Assistant Professors. SLET Notification 2023

Students willing to apply for the examination can register on the official website. The dates of registration are applicable from November 14, 2022 to January 7, 2023. As this exam will follow a competency-based pattern, make sure to study everything beforehand to avoid any last-moment chaos. SLET Exam Pattern 

The SLET 2023 Exam comprises two papers, Paper 1 and Paper 2. The duration of Paper 1 and Paper 2 is 1 hour (60 minutes) and 2 hours (120 minutes) respectively. The question paper consists of 150 objective-type questions, each of which will be carrying 2 marks. The maximum marks for the exam are 300. SLET Syllabus 

The SLET exam paper consists of two sections, paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 consists of the basic knowledge/research aptitude subjects and Paper 2 consists of different Languages and Science subjects. Read the syllabi for Paper 1 and Paper 2 below.

SLET Eligibility Criteria 2023

SLET authorities have determined a few eligibility criteria for candidates appearing in the SLET recruitment exam for the post of Assistant Professor. Candidates willing to apply must have a postgraduate degree and/or a PhD from a recognised university/institute with at least 55% marks. There is no such age limitation set for candidates by the exam conducting authority. Candidates from the reserved categories will be provided age relaxation as per SLET recruitment rules. Candidates having no work experience are also eligible to appear in the exam.

Before filling out the application candidates need to register and create their login credentials. Candidates must follow the below-given steps in order to complete the SLET 2023 application process successfully. 

Steps for the Application Process 

  • Visit the official website and log in using your credentials. 
  • Fill in all the required information. 
  • Keep scanned copies of all the required documents like mark sheets, ID proof category certificates, etc. 
  • Candidates have to submit their Master of Arts, Master of Science, or Master of Commerce certificates, and all the related mark sheets.
  • Submit a copy of the SC/ST/OBC certificate or PwD category certificate. 
  • Pay the required fee and submit the application.
  • Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for future reference.

SLET Admit Card 2023

Candidates can find their admit card on the official website, i.e. www.sletne.org. and log in using their application number and date of birth, and then download the admit card. Candidates are advised to keep their admit cards safe till they get results and selection process details. Candidates must carry their admit card on the exam day to enter the examination hall. 

SLET Selection Process 2023 

The selection of candidates will be done according to the score in their SLET examination. Candidates need to have a passing certificate for Paper 1 and Paper 2. To be eligible for Assistant Professor’s position across the colleges/institutes, candidates need to secure qualifying cut-off marks.
