SMAT Application Process: Shiv Nadar University Management Aptitude Test, popularly known as the SMAT exam, is conducted by Shiv Nadar University. The test is conducted once a year in online mode to select eligible and qualified candidates for admission to the MBA programme at Shiv Nadar University. 

SMAT is expected to be held in June 2023 in more than 13 cities all over the country. The online application process has already begun and candidates from all over the country are eligible to apply for the SMAT entrance examination.

SMAT Exam 2023 Application Process

The registration process for the SMAT exam 2023 has already commenced. To acquaint interested candidates enrolling for the SMAT exam with the application process beforehand, we have provided a guide below with step-by-step instructions to apply for the SMAT examination. This will ensure that the candidates have all the necessary documents and information for completing the process. Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before beginning the application:

Step 1: The candidates have to visit the official website of Shiv Nadar University. 

Step 2: Register themselves under the “Registration” tab.

Step 3: To register candidates have to enter their details correctly such as name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID, city, state, etc.

Step 4: Create a password and remember it for future reference.

Step 5: Once the details are filled up, enter the given captcha and click on submit. 

Step 6: You will receive a confirmation email, verify the email and a PID number will be generated.

Step 7: With the received PID number, log in to your portal, and complete the rest of the application form by filling up the rest of the details- personal details, educational qualification, course details, and professional details (if any). 

Step 8: Do not forget to add your preference for admission i.e., through the SMAT exam or non-exam pathway. 

Step 9: Before finally submitting the application form, cross-check the details and submit the application form.  

Step 10: Pay the required application fee either in online or offline mode. After successful payment of the application fee, keep a digital copy of the payment acknowledgement receipt, download it and keep it for later reference.

Candidates who have valid CAT/XAT/GRE/GMAT/NMAT/CMAT scores do not have to take the SMAT examination. However, if the candidate is unsatisfied with the score, they can apply and appear for the SMAT exam.

SMAT Exam 2023 Application Fees

At the time of registering for the SMAT exam 2023, candidates have to make a payment of INR 1200 for successful submission and registration for the SMAT exam. If the payment is not made at the due duration, the application will not be considered for further processing. Candidates are advised to make their payment for successful registration. 

The application fee can be paid online through a debit card or credit card. Candidates can also make payments through offline mode by drawing a demand draft (DD) of INR 1200 in favour of Shiv Nadar University payable at Noida at below-mentioned address.

SMAT Exam 2023 Documents Required

While registering for the SMAT examination 2023, there are certain documents which are mandatory to upload by the applying candidates. Candidates are advised to keep these below-mentioned documents handy to avoid any chaos at the last minute of registration. The list of documents that a candidate requires is as follows:

  1. Class 10th mark sheet
  2. Class 12th mark sheet and pass certificate
  3. The graduation mark sheet and pass certificate
  4. Scanned passport-size photograph (less than 50 kb)
  5. Scanned signature of the candidate (less than 50 kb)
  6. Proof of work experience (if applicable)
