PU LLB 2024: Panjab University conducts a Law Entrance Examination for aspirants who want to apply for 3 3-year LLB program. These UG programs are B.A LLB and B.Com LLB. PU LLB Entrance Exam Pattern 2024

Panjab University LLB Entrance Test Syllabus

PU LLB 2024 Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates who are willing to apply for PU LLB 2024 must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the exam.

• The candidates must have secured at least 45% in their degree courses. 
• 5% relaxation is applicable for reserved categories like SC, ST, and PwD. There’s no such age limit for candidates who wish to apply for PU LLB. 
• For the 5-Year Integrated course of LLB, the candidate must secure at least 50% in the Class 12th examination from recognized sources (The 12th-grade level examination should be in 10+2 format).

PU LLB 2024 Application Process 

Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria can fill out the application form on the official website of PU, i.e. uglaw.puchd.ac.in. Candidates first need to register themselves using their phone number, email id, etc. They will then receive a confirmation mail and then can verify and move forward with the registration process. After the completion of registration, candidates will receive a login ID and password. Candidates will have to fill in their details like their Aadhar Card and date of birth, etc. 

Here’s a list of documents one must have, otherwise their application will be rejected.

• Class 10th and 12th and graduation mark sheets
• Category certificate
• The income certificate of the family
• Sports Quota (if any)
• NCC or BSS Certificate
• Scanned photographs with your signature.
• Government-issued ID proof.
• Certificate of Disability (if any) 
• Character certificate which is not older than six months from the date of admission. 

Following the declaration of exam results, the selected candidates will be called to be admitted into Panjab University. Those candidates will have to reserve their seats by paying the admission fee for the course at Panjab University.

PU LLB 2024 Admit Card

An applicant needs to have an admit card before taking the examination. After filling out the application form, the admit card will be issued to the applicants days before the entrance test. Till now there has been no information for the date of release of the PU LLB admit card by the conducting body. However, it will be released in July, according to last year’s schedule.

These are the steps that are to be followed to download the admit card:

1. Visit the official website of Panjab University. Click on ‘Admit Card’.
2. Log in with your credentials (Registered ID and Password) and click on Sign in.
3. The admit card will appear on the screen. Click on it.
4. Check all the details mentioned in the admit card carefully and click on the link to download it.
5. Make sure to take a printout of the admit card for future reference.

PU LLB Result 2024

A month after the exam is conducted, the result of the PU LLB exam is released by the university. The applicants can check the results on the official website of Panjab University. on Applicants should keep a tab on the notifications released by the conducting body for the result date. 

Follow these simple steps to check the result:

1. Visit the official website and log in with your registered ID and Password.
2. A window will be displayed with the result when it is out.
3. Click on that and download the result for future reference.

PU LLB Selection Process 2024

The selection process of Panjab University consists of some simple steps. These steps are;

• Entrance exam
• Counselling process.

The weightage of the entrance exam is 50% of the total marks. The result is prepared accordingly. After the result is declared, a merit list is prepared according to the marks obtained in the test and the qualifying exam.

The students whose name has appeared on the merit list, qualify for the counselling process. The students will be required to visit the campus offline and complete the admission formalities after they are allotted a college according to their Ranks and Scores in the merit list.
