ILSAT 2023 FAQs

The ILSAT exam is a university-level examination which is conducted by the ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad, to fill up seats in undergraduate and postgraduate law courses. The mode of this exam is a Computed-based Test (CBT). Allotment of seats will be done on the basis of merit list, which will depend on marks secured in the entrance test, the candidate’s performance in the interview and previous examination results. 

Candidates who have appeared or will appear in CLAT / LSAT India exams will be given special recognition, and won’t have to appear for the ILSAT exam for B.A/ B.Com LLB and LLM courses

Candidates who are interested and who fulfil all the eligibility criteria can apply on the official website of ICFAI Law School at https://www.ifheindia.org/fol/.

Students applying for ILSAT 2023 should have completed their 10+2, with a minimum score of 50%, from an institution recognised by the government, and should not be more than 20 years old (as of 1st August 2023).

Is there any application fee for ILSAT 2023?

While filling out the ILSAT 2023 application form, candidates will have to pay INR 1000 as an application fee. This fee is non-refundable. If any candidate has entered false information in his or her application form, his or her application will be rejected and the entire application form is to be filled out again by paying the application fee again.

What is the last date to apply for ILSAT 2023?

According to the latest notification released by the ICFAI Hyderabad, the last date to apply for ILSAT 2023 is 28th May 2023. After this date, the ICFAI will not accept any applications.

What is the exam date for ILSAT 2023?

The ILSAT 2023 exam will be conducted by ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad on 4th June 2023. The duration of this exam will be 2 hours, in which candidates have to answer 125 MCQ-based questions.

On which date the result for ILSAT 2023 will be declared?

According to the latest notification released by the ICFAI Hyderabad, the result for ILSAT 2023 will be declared on 8th June 2023.

How to download ILSAT admit card?

To download the ILSAT admit card, visit the official website of IFCAI Hyderabad, and log in using your registration ID and password. Under the notification section, look for ILSAT 2023 admit card and click on it. Enter your date of birth and the admit card will appear on your screen.

What is the exam pattern of ILSAT?

The ILSAT exam will include 150 MCQs (multiple choice questions), and the duration of the exam will be 2 hours (120 minutes). The questions will cover subjects like General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning.

Will there be any negative markings in the ILSAT 2023 exam?

According to the latest notification released by the ICFAI Law School, Hyderabad, the ILSAT 2023 exam will not have any negative marking. It means, if any candidate has marked a wrong option, his or her marks will not be deducted.

What is the marking scheme under the ILSAT exam?

In the ILSAT exam, candidates will be given 1 mark for each correct answer. There will be 125 questions, which will be MCQ-based.
