APS Online 2022 Application Process

Candidates who are interested in the APS Online recruitment have to fill out the application form on the official website of the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) before October 5, 2022. The following steps will guide you in filling out the application for APS online:

• Visit the official website of the Army Welfare Education Society or Army Public School
• Click on the ‘Online Screening Test’ (OST) and complete your registration by filling out all the details.
• After completing registration you will receive a login ID and password in your email.
• Login using your ID and password and click on ‘Online Registration’.

• The next step will be to pay the application fees, which are to be paid online only through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking. The application fee is 500 rupees.

Post-wise Eligibility Criteria for APS Online

PGT (Expect Computer Science, Physical Education)	2 years integrated post-graduation MA/M.Sc or Post Graduation with a minimum 55% score and three-year integrated B.Ed/M.Ed.
TGT (Expect Physical Education)	4 years ‘Integrated Degree Course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the respective subject with at least 50% score or bachelor’s degree with at least 50% score.
PRT (Primary Teacher)	A bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks or an Integrated B.Ed pass in the Central Teachers Eligibility Test (CTET).

APS Selection Process

The selection process for APS online 2022 is divided into three different stages. These stages are; Screening Exam; Interview; and Evaluation of Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency.

Screening Exam

The screening test is the only written test in the entire selection process of APS online. The purpose of this exam is to check the candidate’s various abilities including how to manage pressure at work. The objective of this test is to check if the candidate is mentally strong to handle children. The mode of this examination will be online.

Interview

Candidates who will clear the first stage of APS online will be called for the second stage; the Interview. Different APS centres are appointed to candidates with specified dates and times when they have to give their interviews.

Evaluation of Teaching Skills and Computer Proficiency

This final stage is conducted along with the interview. In this stage, there will be two objectives;  Teaching practices and the language teachers will have to complete two questions on essays. The weightage of this stage will be 15 marks.

APS Online 2022 Exam Pattern

The exam pattern in APS online recruitment written exam differs depending on the post the candidate is applying for.

• The exam will consist of a total of 200 marks.
• The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
