  • Science studies are conducted through UGC CSIR NET. The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research is responsible for this.
  • Up until July 2018, the UGC NET exam was administered by the CBSE. However, starting in December 2018, the NTA (National Testing Agency) will be administering the UGC National Eligibility Test.
  • This test’s main goal is to categorize candidates for junior research fellowships as well as university-level lectureships.
