CSK, or Chennai Super Kings, is based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. It was named to honor the rulers of the Tamil Empire. The home ground of Chennai Super Kings is M. A. Chidambaram Stadium, located in Chennai. Interestingly, this stadium, previously known as Madras Cricket Club Ground, was named after the former President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). 

The CSK logo features a roaring lion in orange color against a yellow background with Chennai Super Kings written in blue. It resembles the courage, fiery spirit, and sportsmanship of the team and its players.

CSK Overall Performance in IPL

The Indian Premiere League was established in 2008 with the inauguration match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. In 2010, the Chennai Super Kings won the CLT20 championship under the leadership of MS Dhoni. Similarly, the CSK also managed to win the IPL in 2011 with MS Dhoni as the captain of the team. This was the year when the Indian cricket team won the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
