The United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) is inviting applications from graduates across the globe for online internships of 3-6 months long. These UNCCD internships are in the field of communications. Let’s look at the objectives, application and selection criteria!
What Will the Day of an Intern Look like?
The interns will work under the supervision of the public information associate and they will assist in the management of online communications products and activities. Interns will be required to research and schedule social media content for UNCCD social media platforms which include Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn.
Opportunities
They will also get a chance to amplify UNCCD online presence by conceptualising and developing graphics and other visuals for the digital platforms. For this internship, fluency in written and spoken English is required and the knowledge of other official UN languages (Arabic, Chinese, Spanish or Russian) will add more points to a candidate’s application. This internship is based in the UNCCD office in Bonn, Germany, but candidates can work remotely from their home country due to Covid.
