What Does a Radiologist Do?

Wilhelm Conrad Roentgen in 1895 accidentally discovered X-Rays while working on a cathode ray tube. This accidental discovery of Dr Roentgen is considered a huge advancement in the medical community. X-Ray was not only used to scan the internal organs but also to diagnose a multitude of diseases. Now decades later, more technologically advanced, non-invasive imaging techniques like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Positron Emission Tomography (PET), Ultrasound, and Computer Tomography (CT Scan) have emerged which are being used to treat diseases as well. These types of equipment are handled by medical professionals called Radiologists. Difference Between a Radiologist and a Radiographer
