Ternopil State Medical University is a non-private medical institution of Ukraine and is situated in the city of Ternopil. The university came into existence in 1957 but it gained recognition as a medical college in 1997. Ternopil State Medical University is considered to be among the best and oldest government universities in Ukraine, it is also among the only universities for medicine that offers over 91 postgraduate programs to its students. In 2019, the University was accorded the status of a national university and became the Ternopil National Medical University. TSMU has consistently ranked among the top 5 universities in the country and the #1 among medical universities in Ukraine. 

Infrastructure, Campuses, and Courses

Ternopil State Medical University consists of departments that are well equipped with modern facilities like wifi-connected classes, plaster casts, phantoms, and many other facilities to help students gain practical knowledge. A total of 150 faculty members are employed by Ternopil State Medical University. MBBS is one of the popular courses among students. The campus of Ternopil State Medical University is located in Ternopil in Ukraine. All the departments of education are provided with English-speaking lecturers. Ternopil State Medical University provides students with academic facilities like study materials, syllabi, lecture presentations, curriculum, methodical skills, and algorithm of practical techniques in English and Russian. At Ternopil State Medical University all the study material is prepared as hard copy and electronic versions are uploaded on the institution's web portal so that all students can easily access them 24/7. The university also possesses a Preparatory Department where the staff consists of highly-skilled linguists who are engaged in scientific research. Apart from educational programs, students also participate in various sports activities like cricket and badminton.

In European Medical University rankings, TSMU is consistently ranked highly. The fourth level of accreditation has been granted to the university. With classes taught 100% in English, the University offers excellent education.
