Established in 1967, George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology is one of Canada's largest public colleges in Toronto, Ontario. The college has affiliations with CCAA, Colleges and Institutes Canada, Universities Canada, Canadian Bureau for International Education (CBIE). George Brown College was named #1 Research College in Canada for the second time in three years. George Brown College is the number one research college for 2017, as ranked by RESEARCH Infosource Inc.
Infrastructure, Campuses and Courses
The college has three campuses under its name, i.e. the downtown Toronto campus at St. James, Casa Loma Campus, and Waterfront campus. The Casa Loma campus serves as the main campus while the Waterfront Campus is a recent addition to the college. All the campuses are easily accessible from the surrounding cities. The on-campus state-of-art facilities and modern amenities help students have an enriching experience. George Brown College offers a wide range of full-time programs in apprenticeships, diplomas, certificates, and undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. There are also academic schools that are organized into seven academic centres including Preparatory and Liberal Studies Art, Design and Information Technology, Business, Health Sciences, Community Services, and Early Childhood Hospitality and Culinary Arts, Construction and Engineering Technology.

According to the 2021 Readers' Choice Awards for NOW Magazine, George Brown College is the greatest college. George Brown College is recognised as one of Greater Toronto's Top Employers for the sixth consecutive year (2022). Students at George Brown College are excelling in academics, sports, business competitions, community involvement, and more. It includes Katherine Barrell (Canadian Actress), Bonnie Stern (Author), Jamie Kennedy (Chef), and Gigi Gorgeous (Canadian Youtuber) among others.

The college serves a diverse student population of nearly 25,000 full-time and 61,300 continuing education students including 3,270 international students from 95 countries across the globe.
