Study in USA: Manipal’s AUA Welcomes Applicants for September 2023 Intake in USA Medical Pathway

Admissions for the September 2023 intake of the USA Medical Pathway have started. At Manipal’s American University of Antigua College of Medicine (AUA). The 6.5-year Pre-Med to MD programme is intend for high school graduates. Also for non-traditional students who are all interested in pursuing a career in medicine abroad.

Students enrolled in the programme begin their medical education at MAHE in Manipal, India. Then continue their preclinical studies at the Antigua campus (Antigua and Barbuda). Additionally complete clinical rotations in teaching hospitals affiliated with those institutions in the US, UK, and Canada.

Students receive a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the American University of Antigua after passing their licensing exams. AUA graduates from Manipal have the opportunity to apply for residency placement in the US. Then finally fulfill their dream of working as a doctor in the US, UK, or Canada.

For the Fall September 2023 batch of the Pre-med to MD programme at Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), Manipal, Karnataka, India, applications are now being accepted. Moreover, interested candidates may apply for this programme with their actual or anticipated NEET score. Especially if they have completed their 12th grade and passed the NEET exams.

Manipal’s AUA is one of the few Caribbean med schools which is recognised by the Medical Board of California (MBC) approved by New York and Florida Education, the Caribbean Accreditation Authority for Education in Medicine and other Health Professionals (CAAM-HP). The students who pass the licensure exams can aim for residency and become a practicing doctor in any of 50 states in Canada, USA and UK.
