If we look at the statistics, this might as well be true. It is not only that a record number of students are applying to study in the UK but a record number of university acceptance letters and study visas are also being granted.
As per the UK home office report, there has been a 54% increase in the number of sponsored student visas being granted to Indian students in the UK. This increase is as compared to the numbers reported in 2022 and 2023.
If we consider the numbers since 2019, the difference in study visas has grown seven times. Indian students received one-third of the 500,000 study visas granted in the UK. The United Kingdom has so far been very hospitable to international students and beats a lot of countries by providing competitive facilities and resources.

This year, the UK granted 142,848 sponsored student visas only to Indian students. Moreover, this promising number comes with an increase of 49,883 visas compared to 2022. This is not it, the number of post-study work visas or Graduate route visas was 20%.
Furthermore, the extensions on graduate visas given to Indian students have also increased by 42% this year. In 2020 and 2021, Greek and Irish students dominated the student enrollments in the UK. This trend has shifted majorly in the last two years.
