Study in Canada: Simon Fraser University Undergraduate International Scholarship Award Open for Spring 2024

The Simon Fraser University(SFU)  is offering undergraduate international scholarships. The scholarships are available to both Canadian and international students for the Spring of 2024. Interested students can now apply for the scholarships. The Financial Aid and Awards will notify the beneficiaries regarding the status of their application. However, the high volume of applications will delay the payment of funds until the middle of the application term. The SFU offers scholarships for overcoming adversity, scholarships for applied sciences, arts, and social sciences, business administration, communication art and technology students, health science students, science students, and finance concentration students, among others. The deadline for the scholarship is on February 19, 2024.

SFU Undergraduate International Scholarship Eligibility Criteria 

The eligibility criteria for the Simon Fraser University is as follows: 

• The applicant must have completed a minimum of  12 units of standard-graded courses
• Enroll in a minimum of 12 units of standard graded courses at SFU in the term of application.
• Additionally, the student  minimum CGPA of 3.50 at the university level
• Students with disabilities are eligible to apply for the scholarship provided they are enrolled in a minimum of  6 or more units of standard graded courses and meet other academic requirements
• However, students with an SFU entrance award are not eligible for the scholarship till the entrance scholarship is fully paid out.

SFU Undergraduate International Scholarship Application Process 

The application process for the SFU Undergraduate International Scholarship is as follows:

• Read the Spring 2024 Scholarship and Awards List to determine which scholarship to apply for 
• Secondly, log in to the student information system and then select ‘student center’
• Select the option financial aid and awards under the finances section
• Lastly, click on the scholarship to apply option 
• The applicant can now list the awards they want to apply for and submit the online application form. Mail the documents to the university before the deadline.
• For refunds set up a direct deposit account as soon as possible. 

The SFU undergraduate international scholarship deadline is on February 19, 2024. Applicants must submit the application form and the relevant documents before the deadline.
