The NL Scholarship application for Non European Economic Area (EEA) is expected to launch in the month of November. The NL scholarship or the Holland Scholarships is a scholarship meant for international students who are living outside of the European Economic Area. The scholarship is available for both bachelor and master’s students wanting to study in the Netherlands. The benefit is an amount of €5,000 for the duration of one year. That is, it is not a renewable scholarship. Students applying for admission in the participating universities and fulfil the requirements of the scholarship can apply for the scholarship next month.
NL Scholarships 2024 (Non-EEA Applicants) Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for the NL Scholarship/Holland Scholarship is as follows:
- International student coming from non EEA countries
- Must be applying for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree full time at one of the participating Dutch universities
- Additionally, the student must meet the specific requirements of the university
- However, those already possessing a degree from the Netherlands will not be eligible.
NL Scholarship Benefits and Details of Participating Universities
The NL Scholarship/Holland Scholarship benefit is an amount of € 5,000. The scholarship will be provided for the 1st year of study. However, the grant is available only once. The NL scholarship is provided by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science and the l Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences.
Some of the participating research universities include- Leiden University, Erasmus University Rotterdam, Maastricht University, and VU Amsterdam. Participating universities of applied sciences include- Aeres University of Applied Sciences, and Codarts Rotterdam, among others.
