DAAD Scholarships
The DAAD is one of the largest funding organizations for international exchange students. DAAD offers scholarships to international students to study in Germany. Generally, DAAD scholarships offer a monthly stipend and a travel allowance. Depending on the scholarship insurance may also be provided. Erasmus Mundus
Erasmus Mundus Scheme is funded by the EU. Under it, a series of scholarships are available to international students to study in Europe. Moreover, the list of sponsored Joint Master’s and Masters’s degree are updated yearly. To be eligible for the Erasmus Mundus Scholarship applicants must have either completed their Bachelor’s or in the final year of study. Moreover, the student must secure a minimum of 180 credits or equivalent in their 1st degree.
Eiffel Excellence Scholarship
The Eiffel Excellence Scholarship is funded by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs. The scholarship is provided to international students wanting to study Masters’s or PhD program in France. Masters student gets an allowance of €1,181. However, a PhD student can get a stipend of €1,700. However, for Masters, the age limit is 25, and for PhD, the age limit is 30. The scholarship selection is based on the application submitted by the students.
Swiss Government Excellence Scholarship
The Swiss Government provided plenty of scholarships to international students. They are available to research to PG students, fellowships for doctoral and postdoctoral research, and PhD and art scholarships. To be eligible for the scholarships students must hold a relevant degree from a recognized institution. Moreover, they must be willing to study full-time in the country.
Charpak Scholarship
The France Excellence Charpak scholarship is available to study PG courses at a French institution. The scholarship grants a monthly stipend of EUR 860, a student visa fee waiver, social security, and assistance to find accommodation in France. However, to be eligible for the scholarship the applicant must be below 30 years of age. Interested students must first make an application to the French institute, and then apply for the scholarship.
