Beijing Government MBBS Scholarship 

The Beijing Government MBBS Scholarship scheme is offered by the Capital Medical University of China to both local and international students. International students who enrol for a course at any public university in China can opt for this scholarship program. The selected eligible candidates will be awarded an amount of 20,000 RMB (INR 2.4 Lakh ) for each academic year. Candidates must note that only the tuition fee will be covered under this scholarship program. 

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are given below:

  • Students applying for bachelor’s courses must be under 30 years of age. 
  • Students applying for master’s courses must be under 35 years of age. 
  • For PhD students, the age limit is 40 years. 
  • The applicants should not be a citizen of China. They can belong to any other nationality. 

Bilateral MBBS Program – Anhui Medical University 

This scholarship program is an initiative by the Chinese Government. This program is valid for a minimum of 6 – 7 academic years. The candidates who are willing to apply for this scholarship should apply for it between January and April. 

This scholarship covers registration fees, lab fees, accommodation, internship and outpatient medical services. Students will receive a yearly scholarship grant of 1,500 RMB (INR 18,000) and will also get a monthly stipend of 1,400 (INR 17,000) RMB. The eligibility criteria for this scholarship is that the students must be under 25 years of age. 

Ibni Sina Medical Sciences Scholarship Program of Turkey 

The Ibni Sina Medical Sciences Scholarship Program of Turkey is given to foreign students by the Government of Turkey. This scholarship is especially for students who are willing to study medical courses in the country. Domains such as medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine and pharmaceutical sciences are eligible under this scholarship program. This scholarship program will also cover expenses such as health expenses, accommodation, air ticket fares and so on. The selected eligible students will receive a stipend worth 50,000 TRY (INR 2.19 Lakh) yearly. This scholarship program remains valid for 84 months (7 years). 

 The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are given below:

  • The students applying for this scholarship can be a citizen of any country outside Turkey. 
  • Students applying for undergraduate courses should be less than 21 years of age.  
  • The minimum percentage for medical courses should be 90%. 

Vice-Chancellor’s International MBBS Scholarship, Sydney University

The Vice Chancellor’s International MBBS Scholarship, Sydney University is an initiative by the University of Sydney. This scholarship is provided to international students with outstanding performance who want to pursue a career in medicine. The scholarship can be provided in four different ways: 

  • $40,000 (approx INR 33 lakh ) for the entire year which will be payable in 2 instalments, 1 for each semester
  • $20,000 (approx INR 16 lakh) for one semester
  • $10,000 (approx INR 8 lakh) for one semester
  • $5,000 (approx INR 4 lakh) for one semester

The eligibility criteria for this scholarship are given below:

  • The student should have appeared in any of the English language proficiency tests such as IELTS or TOEFL
  • The student should be enrolled on a full-time UG or PG program. 
  • The students also have to apply for the ‘Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students.’ 
  • The candidate applying for the scholarship must receive admission offers from more than one renowned institution in Australia.
