The results of the JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship will be announced in late December.

Award and Duration 

An award of Yen 200,000 per month for colleagues without a PhD at the beginning of their term and Yen 362,000 per month for fellows with a PhD.

• The programme offers funding for a period of one year to two years, covering:
• A One-way airline ticket
• A maintenance allowance of 362,000 YEN (about £2,500) every month
• A 200,000 YEN (about £1,400) relocation allowance
• Insurance coverage for sickness and accidents while travelling abroad

Expenses Covered 

The JSPS Postdoctoral fellowship provides the maintenance allowance to cover living expenses and domicile costs related to your stay in Japan for the purpose of carrying out research activities in collaboration with your Host.
