Yes. Ireland gives a post-study work visa to international students. The visa is available to non-EU students who have graduated from an Irish university. The students will have to obtain a level 8 or level 9 award from a recognized Irish awarding body to apply for the visa. The Ireland post study work visa is given to students for 12 months. The visa is also known as the Third-level Graduate Scheme. (Stamp 1G). The Third Level Graduate Scheme Permits the Visa holder to stay in Ireland and apply for a work visa. Ireland Post Study Work Visa Eligibility
The third-level graduate program/ Ireland post Study work Visa eligibility requirements are as follows. Note: the awarding body/institution here refers to the Irish universities, Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI), Royal College of Surgeons Ireland, and the Institutes of Technology.
- The applicant must notify in writing the relevant awarding body or institution on or after 1 January 2017 that they have attained the award for which they have been enrolled.
- Additionally, the student must hold an up-to-date immigration registration card or a current stamp 2 immigration permission. The student must also apply within 6 months of notifying the relevant awarding body that they have obtained the award for which they have enrolled as a student.
- Moreover, the student must not have already exceeded the limit of 7 years as a non-EEA student in Ireland
- Must have already benefitted from the Third Level Graduate Programme at a level 8 award or above, on attainment of a higher level award. Re-enter the 3rd-level Graduate Programme for an additional period of 12 months. The limit is 8 years.
- The graduate cannot benefit from the program on more than 2 separate occasions.
- Moreover, the applicant must comply with the laws of the State. For example, the student must be of good character
- Provide proof of final award attainment by way of a parchment, circumstances where the graduation ceremony is yet to take place. Moreover, the applicant must provide an official letter from the awarding body that the award has been received.

How Long Can I Stay in Ireland After Study?
The Ireland post study work visa duration is between 12-24 months. Graduates with an award of Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications can receive the visa up to 12 months. On the other hand, graduates with an award of level 9 or above on the National Framework of Qualifications will be given a visa for 24 months. However, initially, even they will be given visas for only 12 months. The visa will only be extended for 12 more months when the students provide evidence that they have taken appropriate steps to access suitable graduate-level employment. That is, they have attended job interviews or signed up with employment agencies.
