Georgia Business Visa Eligibility Criteria 

To apply for a business visa you must meet its eligibility requirements. The following are the eligibility criteria to apply for a business visa:

  • Must have proof of your purpose of visit or business ownership
  • Those who have been invited for a business meeting need to present an invitation letter for the same 
  • Additionally, you are required to be in good health. For this reason, you need to take a medical test before travelling to Georgia 
  • You also need to be of good character and provide proof of the same 
  • Additionally, you need to have sufficient funds to cover your expenses for the duration of stay. You also need to provide bank statements or any other equivalent document as proof of funds 
  • Any other documents requested by the embassy/consulate also need to be submitted 

Documentation Requirements to Obtain a Georgia Business Visa 

As an ordinary visa applicant, you need to provide certain documents. These documents verify your profile for the business visa 

  • Fill in the visa application form and sign the same
  • Additionally, you must have a travel document/passport issued within the last 10 years. Moreover, this travel document must be valid for at least 3 months.  
  • Submit proof of visa fee payment (USD 20)
  • Additionally, you also need to submit your accommodation proof. This can be in the form of a rental agreement, hotel reservation, etc.
  • You also need proof of finances to travel and stay in Georgia
  •  Proof that you have obtained travel insurance for the duration of your stay
  • You also need to confirm your purpose of stay, For example, submit a notarized letter of invitation and consent of a legal representative (for a person less than 18 years). 
  • Any other additional documentation as applicable. 

Photograph Specifications

One of the main requirements of a Georgian visa is to submit a photograph. The specifications are:

  • You need to take a colour photograph
  • It must be 472 x 610 pixels in dimension. 
  • When you scan the photograph its size should be-  4 x 5.16 cm in size 
  • The scanning of the photograph must be at 300 DPI resolutions

Application Process for a Georgia Business Visa 

The application process for a Georgia business visa is as follows. Note; for a business visa you can apply on the e-visa portal or by visiting the official website of the Georgia embassy or consular office. The application process for the e-visa application is provided below:

  • Visit the Georgia e-visa portal
  • Click on Apply Now, and enter your details. For example, the country of your citizenship, purpose of visit, etc. 
  • You can only apply for an e-visa if you have already obtained a travel insurance 
  • Enter your details, and go to the next page. At this stage, you can enter your travel details and upload documents like photographs.
  • Lastly, you need to pay the consular fees. Moreover, you need to pay additional fees to the service provider (USD 15).
  • After that, your e-visa application will be processed.
