Croatia Visit Visa Documentation Requirements

You have to meet the Croatia visit visa requirements. The Croatian government requires you to submit the following documents for the visa processing. Ensure that these documents are either translated into English or Croatian.

Application Form 

• Download the visa application form, enter your details, and sign the same.
• If you are a minor your application form must be signed by both of your parents or legal guardians.
• A minor must also present passport copies of their parents or legal guardians and their own birth certificate

Passport 

• The passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the duration of your stay
• It must have been issued within the last 10 years
• Contain 2 blank pages 
• The passport must be signed by the passport holder

Photocopies 

• Copies of your current passport
• Copies of your previous passports

Photo Specifications 

• It must be a color photograph of  35 X 45 mm.
• Neutral facial expression ( mouth must be closed and your eyes must be open)
• The head (from the tip of the chin to the scalp) must cover ⅔ of the photo. Moreover, it should not be higher than 36 mm.
• Your head must be situated in the centre of the photograph 
• The distance between the left eye to the middle of the right eye must be optimally 10mm.
• The photograph must be of high quality, taken on a smooth paper, and have high printing quality 
• The background must be light in color (preferably white) and must contrast the hair and face.
• The photograph can be captured by VFS Global India

Travel Insurance 

• As per the Croatia visit visa requirements travel insurance must be valid in all the Schengen states
• Must be of at least EUR 30,000
• Medical insurances related to credit cards are unacceptable 

Proof of Residence in India

• Submit your Indian residence permit 

Cover Letter 

• Explain the reason for your stay and the duration of your stay
• Detailed itinerary 
• Location of your stay must also be mentioned

Proof of Accommodation

• Proof that your have arranged your stay in Croatia
• This can be a hotel booking, lease agreement, tourist paid package, etc.

Proof of Funds 

• You must have funds to cover your expenses for the duration of your stay
• You need to demonstrate that you have this amount of money
• For that you can submit documents such as ITR of 3 years, and 3 months bank statements 
• Copy of your international credit card can also be submitted as proof along with 3 months credit card statement

Proof of Return to India

• Return airline tickets to India
• Self employed people- Submit  company registration papers.
• If you are an employed person you can submit  a visa request letter from your company head. 
• Minors -Decision of the component authority if you have a legal guardian. Otherwise you can submit your birth certificate 
• Minors travelling alone- Submit  consent letter from both parents to travel to Croatia, or a 
•  Notarized consent of a legal guardian 

Proof of Visa Fee Payment 

• Pay the visa application processing fee and attach the fee receipt

• Additional documents have to be submitted depending on the purpose of your stay. A visit visa can be applied for different purposes starting from tourism, short term study, etc.
• Those involved in short term study can submit their proof of enrolment from the University/Faculty in Croatia
• Similarly, tourist visa applicants can submit Proof of Hotel Booking Reservation

Financial Requirements to Get a Croatia Visit Visa 

The Croatia visit visa requirements state that you must have funds to travel to the country. Therefore, you need to have sufficient funds to cover your stay.

The Croatian government has provided a minimum amount of funds your need to have in your bank account. This is required to ensure that you can pay for your living expenses.
