Educational Qualifications
When you are applying for a scholarship, you need to have a certain educational qualification background to clear for this scholarship. The educational qualification differs for the courses you are applying for. For the master’s degree, you need 55% marks in the bachelor’s degree. To apply for the 55% in master’s degree, and for post-doctorate, you need a minimum of 55% marks in their master’s or PhD degree.
Work Experience
After educational qualification, another major requirement is your work experience. Your work experience gives you practical experience in your field. The requirements of work experience are different for your course. You need two years of work experience for a master’s and PhD and a minimum of 5 years of work experience for a post-doctorate degree.

Other than educational experience and work experience, there are some other criteria that make you eligible for the national overseas scholarship. These include
The age
The age of the candidate should be less than 35 years till the 1st of April of the academic year.
Family Income
The family income of the applicant’s guardians or parents or themself should be less than 6,00,000 INR. This is because it is for students who cannot pay the fees.
English Proficiency Test
While moving abroad, you need to clear the English proficiency tests like IELTS, PTE, GMAT, and GRE.

Selection Process
Getting selected can be a very tricky process for any scholarship. Any scholarship goes through a certain selection process. Read the detailed description of the selection process:
Step 1: The first step is that the screening committee will look into your applications and will shortlist them based on your eligibility. This is why it is suggested that you fill out the application form carefully.
Step 2: The shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview. This interview will be taken by the ministry itself. Now they will select 20 candidates based on the personal Interview.
Step 3: The ministry will now award them with provisionally award letters to the selected candidates.
