Maharaj Rajarshi Shahu Scholarships Eligibility 

Candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria mentioned below in order to avail of the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj scholarship provided by the Maharashtra Government

• The candidate must be a Maharashtra resident or a resident of the state bordering Maharashtra and Karnataka.
• To be eligible for this scholarship, the candidate must be in Class 12 or have completed the plus 2 board examinations.
• The applicant must be from the Maratha community.
• He/she must be enrolled in a DHE-approved professional/non-professional degree at a government-aided/non-government-aided/partially aided/unaided/permanently unaided college/institution.
• The applicant’s yearly household income from all sources should not exceed INR 8,00,000 per year.
• The candidate must have been admitted to the course under the general quota.
• Part-time/distance learning/correspondence students are not eligible to apply.
• The grant is only available to a family’s first two children.

• Go to the Rajarshi Shahu Maharaj Scholarship webpage.
• The login screen will appear on your screen.
• You must choose the ‘New Applicant Registration’ option.
• Your screen will display the registration form.
• Enter all of your information.
• To register, confirm your email address and cell phone number.
• The candidate must subsequently finish the Aadhar authentication procedure, which may be done by OTP or biometrics.
• Those who choose OTP authentication will receive an OTP to their registered mobile phone.
• Complete the signup procedure successfully.
• Enter the newly created Username and password into the MahaDBT portal.
