UG Courses in JNU

Bachelor of Arts is a standard degree course that one pursues after their 12th. JNU offers its students BA courses in various specializations such as Arabic, German, French etc. This UG-level program takes a minimum of 3 years to complete. In order to be eligible for admission, one should have passed their 12th class from any stream from a recognized board of education.
JNU also offers its students a professional degree programme called Bachelor of Business Administration. To study this, students should have 12th board results with a minimum of 50 per cent from a recognised board of education.
This course is called Bachelor of Technology which is available to students who have passed their 12th class. The final selection is done via an entrance exam which is conducted at the Jawaharlal Nehru University.
PG Courses in JNU
JNU offers several master’s courses to its students. These courses are in specializations like ancient history and several foreign languages. JNU offers its students two specializations.
In order to be eligible for the same, the student should have completed his/her graduation from a relevant stream. All students wanting to study in PG courses except MBA, will have to take the CUET-PG entrance exam. As for the MBA program, the candidate will have to appear for the CAT exam. Master of Computer Application is a PG-level degree program with a 2-year course duration. All those wanting to make a career through this must have a relevant bachelor’s degree.
All those students from the general category, who have earned a Bachelor’s degree should have a minimum of 50 per cent marks, while students from the reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) should have at least 45 per cent. The course fee for MBA 2023-25 for general category students is Rs 12 lakhs for the complete programme. While for OBC students the fee is Rs 8 lakhs and 6 lakhs for SC/ST/PwD candidates
In order to take admitted to the masters of arts program at JNU, the student should have completed the BA course or equivalent and have got 50 per cent marks.

JNU’s School of Language, Literature, and Culture (SLL&CS) began in 1969 with the main faculty of language, and literature. JNU is the only institution in India where major international languages are taught to the students. Below mentioned are the language courses in JNU which are taught to the students:
