JK SET 2023 Application

The JK SET application form 2023 window was open between 5 May 2023 to 6 June 2023. Candidates submitted the form on the official website.   • Visit Jammu University’s official website.
  • On the homepage, click the ‘JKSET Application Form link’.
  • Register for a new account.
  • After registering successfully, a login ID and password will be generated, which must be saved for future access.
  • Candidates must log in using their login credentials after successfully registering.
  • Complete the form with your name, date of birth, gender, address, and other details.
  • Pay the JKSET application fee by using an online payment method including Credit/Debit Card, UPI, and Net Banking.
  • Upload all essential documents, including the candidate’s photo and signatures.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button.

JK SET 2023 Eligibility

To appear in the Jammu and Kashmir State Eligibility Test, candidates need to fulfil the eligibility set for this. Age Limit

There is no age limit for appearing in the exam. Candidates who have completed the educational qualification can appear in the exam. Applicants of any age can appear for the exam.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates should have a Master’s degree from a UGC-approved university.
  • Candidates must score at least 55% in postgraduation.
  • Applicants who belong to the reserved category (SC/ST/PwD/Transgender) can get a relaxation of 5% in the required score.
  • Candidates who have passed UGC NET exam before 1989 are not required to appear in the exam.

JK SET 2023 Exam Pattern

According to the JKSET exam pattern, there are two papers in the exam: Papers 1 and 2. In both papers, there are multiple-choice questions. The purpose of Paper 1 is to evaluate the candidate’s aptitude for teaching and research. It will be general. It will test the candidate’s capacity for reasoning and logic, comprehension, creative problem-solving, and general awareness. We have mentioned some relevant points that you should keep in mind.

  • The paper 1 test will have 50 multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
  • Paper 2 will have 100 mandatory objective-type questions. 
  • Each question carries two marks.

JK SET 2023 Syllabus

The University of Jammu has created the JK SET syllabus 2023. The syllabus for Paper 1 and Paper 2 is different. The objective of topics mentioned in the Paper 1 syllabus is to examine candidates’ general awareness, reasoning skills, reading comprehension, and teaching/research aptitude.
