JK SET Eligibility Criteria 2023

• Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the respective subject from a recognized university or institution. 
• The subject of the Master’s degree should be one of the subjects enlisted in the list of JK SET subjects available on the official website.
• The minimum qualifying percentage for different categories are as follows:

Age Limit

The age limit for candidates as per the JK SET 2023 eligibility criteria varies based on the category they belong to. The general category candidates should be within the age range of 18 to 32 years. However, relaxation is provided for reserved category candidates as follows:

SC/ST	The upper age limit is relaxed by five years, making the maximum age limit 37 years.
OBC	The upper age limit is relaxed by three years, resulting in a maximum age limit of 35 years.
PWD	The upper age limit is relaxed by ten years. Hence, PWD candidates from the general category can apply until the age of 42
