How many marks are needed to pass the SLET exam?  

The passing marks for each exam are different as per subject and state. On average out of the 200 marks for paper II, the candidates require approximately 60 to 70 marks in order to pass the SLET Examination. This, however, does not ensure their selection. 

What are the total marks for the SLET exam?

The SLET Exam is for a total of 300 marks. Paper I, which is the General Exam, is for 100 marks and Paper II which is a subject-specific test is for 200 marks. 

Does SLET have a negative marking?

No, the SLET Exam does not have a negative marking. Each Question in the SLET Question Papers carries 2 marks. 

The SLET Exam in 2023 was conducted on the 19th of March 2023. The candidates preparing to appear in the next recruitment cycle can wait for the notification that will tentatively appear in the month of November 2023 for hiring Assistant Professors for the 2024 cycle.
