What is a SNAP Score?

SNAP score can be calculated using the candidate’s correct and incorrect questions attempted in the examination. Every candidate’s SNAP score is calculated by adding a +1 mark for every correct attempt and subtracting 0.25 marks for each incorrect attempt. This can be easily understood by having a look at the formula to calculate the SNAP score:

How to Calculate SNAP Percentile?

To calculate the SNAP percentile, the total exam score, ie, 60, is typically scaled down to 50 during the cut-off list shortlisted by each Symbiosis Institutes. The formula to calculate the SNAP percentile is given below: 

SNAP Percentile 2023 = [(Total Number of Candidates – Rank of a Candidate) / Total Number of Candidates] x 100
