RMAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

The All India Management Association (AIMA) in collaboration with Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) conducts the Research Management Aptitude Test (RMAT). The exam is conducted by these institutions for admissions in their joint Ph.D. program. In this blog, we will discuss the RMAT eligibility criteria and other relevant information.

RMAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2023

Candidates who are willing to apply for RMAT 2023 exam should check the eligibility criteria and see if they meet all the prerequisites outlined:

Educational Qualification

• Applicant must have a master’s degree in Management or allied subjects like humanities, science, computer, law, and engineering, etc.
• Candidate should have a professional qualification considered equivalent to a Master’s degree from a university. Qualifications like PGDM/PGDITM approved by AICTE or Chartered Accountancy, Cost Accountancy with at least 55% marks or equivalent grades. 
• Candidates must have scored at least 50 percent marks in graduation.

Work Experience

• The candidate must have a work experience of at least five years (after PG). Candidate must be a full-time employee at the Managerial level in any Industry/Government /Ministry/NGO/Military/Defense organisation. 

           OR

• The candidate is a full-time faculty at a Management institute (approved by AICTE or affiliated with a university). The candidate must have an experience of at least 5 years after post-graduation. 
• Applicants who were not able to continue with their job due to any reason during the course need to take permission from the committee for continuing the program.

RMAT Application Process 2023

Candidates can apply for Research Management Aptitude Test (RMAT) online as well as offline mode. Applicants can follow the below-mentioned steps to apply for the exam:

Application Process Online

• Visit the official website of the All India Management Association(AIMA) and register by providing basic information like Name, DOB etc.
• Candidates will receive their registration confirmation at their email addresses. After logging in applicants can fill out the RMAT application form.
• After filling out the form candidates have to attach their photographs and signatures.
• Pay the application fee via debit/credit card/net banking or via demand draft(DD).
• Candidates can print the application form.

Application Process Offline

Candidates who wish to apply for RMAT offline need to follow the steps mentioned below:

• Candidates first need to download the RMAT application form and take a printout of it.
• After this, candidates need to fill out the form manually providing all the information.
• Candidates need to attach their passport-size photographs in the given space.
• After filling out the form candidates have to prepare a Demand Draft of amount INR 1500/ in the name of “All India Management Association” payable at New Delhi.
• Candidates can send the RMAT application form to the given address:
