ACLAT 2023: ACLAT is conducted for the selection of candidates willing to take admitted to the one-year LLM program at Alliance University, Bangalore. Alliance University conducts the Alliance University Common Law Admission Test (ACLAT). This exam is for students who have finished their LLB degree with at least 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved category applicants).

ACLAT 2023 Important dates 

The ACLAT 2023 application process will start in the month of February and the exam is expected to be conducted in the first week of June 2023. Candidates can refer to the table given below to get an idea about the important dates.

ACLAT 2023 Application Process

The ACLAT 2023 application forms will be made available soon on the official website. Candidates may apply for the exam online, where they must first register, fill out the application form, and then pay to take the exam. To avoid mistakes in their application, candidates must follow the step-by-step instruction mentioned below. 

Online process

• Go to Alliance University’s official website for ACLAT and click on the “Apply Online” option.
• The registration form will appear; insert your basic information such as your name, email address, and phone number.
• To finish the online registration, click on “Register”. A verification link and a confirmation SMS will be sent to the registered email address and cellphone number.
• Click on the link in the email to verify the registered email account, since the application form will be available only when this verification is complete.
• In the next step, fill out the required details in the application form and upload scanned copies of the required documents in the prescribed format.
• Complete the application process by paying the application fee online. You can use either mobile wallets, internet banking, credit card or debit card to make the payment.

Offline process

Candidates who want to fill out the ACLAT 2023 application form in an offline manner must first download the application form. Students will have to take the printout of the same and fill out the ACLAT application form. To submit the completely filled ACLAT application form, candidates need to send the same to the address given below –

Eligibility Criteria 

The ACLAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria outlines the required academic qualification and age limit required to take the exam and further get admission to the LLM program. Candidates should fill out the application form only when they have met the ACLAT eligibility criteria. If any ineligible candidates are found to have filled out the application form, their candidatures will be rendered rejected. The eligibility requirements for ACLAT 2023 are listed below.

• Students must have passed a 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board with 45% marks. (40% for SC/ST candidates).
• The candidate must hold a 3-year LLB or 5-year integrated LLB degree with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category candidates) from a university approved by the Bar Council of India.

Results 

Alliance University will release the ACLAT Results shortly after the exam. Candidates will be able to view the ACLAT 2023 Result online using their registered accounts by entering their registration number and Date of Birth.

Counselling 

Candidates who pass the ACLAT LLM entrance exam will be called for personal interview rounds. Eligible applicants must appear in person for the ACLAT 2023 interview round on the specified day.

In addition to the interview, the university will conduct ACLAT counselling. Candidates must bring the original required documents as well as the counselling call letter. The candidate’s documents will be reviewed during counselling. Any candidate who fails the document verification procedure will be rejected.

Seats will be allocated during ACLAT 2023 counselling depending on the candidate’s merit rank and preferences for admission.
