JEMAT GD PI Process: The JEMAT GD PI process is the final stage in the exam selection process for the JEMAT exam.  The JEMAT GD PI processes are organised by the officials of Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University for candidates who qualify for the JEMAT exam.

JEMAT 2023 Selection Process

Candidates who are interested in the Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT 2023) will have to appear for the exam on the allotted date and exam centre. The officials of the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology will evaluate the candidate’s exam papers and declare the exam results later. Candidates must know all the JEMAT selection process stages. The JEMAT selection process stages are mentioned below.

• Appear for the exam
• Candidates who will qualify for the exam will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) stages.

JEMAT 2023 Final Stage in the Selection Process

The final stage in the JEMAT selection process will be the Counselling process. The Counselling process will include three stages – Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Document Verification. 

Candidates who will appear for these stages must keep themselves updated about the documents they must carry while appearing for the final stage in the JEMAT selection process. Here is a list of all the documents you need to carry while appearing for the JEMAT GD and PI process:

• JEMAT admit card
• Valid ID card
• Matriculation certificate
• 10+2 certificate
• Graduate mark sheet/ certificate
• Domicile certificate
• Caste certificate (if applicable)

JEMAT GD

Group Discussion (GD) is the first part of the JEMAT Counselling process. During the group discussion, candidates will have to form a group of 10-15 candidates, where they will work as a team. They have to discuss in a group a particular topic for 20-30 minutes.

The objective of conducting the GD process is to examine the candidate’s general knowledge skills, and leadership qualities, and to work in a team environment. Candidates must prepare themselves by knowing about the current affair and general knowledge topics.

JEMAT PI

Subsequent to the GD, candidates will be called for the PI round. The Personal Interview (PI) rounds will be the deciding factor in whether the candidate will be allowed to take admitted or not. 

The Personal Interview rounds are conducted to check the candidate’s personality and level of interest they have for the exam. The personal interview will be taken by committee members of the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad University of Technology.

• Be calm yet assertive while putting forward your thoughts.
• Use formal language and be respectful towards the faculty and other candidates in the room.
