DRDO ( Defensive Research and Development Organisation) recruits for several posts throughout the year. These posts are of different categories like Technical, Administrative, and Non-Technical Staff. Non-Gazetted Staff etc. One such post is DRDO MTS ( Multi-Tasking Staff). There are many entry-level exams for candidates who want to apply. This allows the candidates to work with the defense sector of the country very closely.

About DRDO

In 1958, the government of India combined the Defense Organization and some technical posts to form a definite body DRDO. DRDO stands for Defensive Research and Development Organisation.

DRDO MTS Selection Process

DRDO MTS Syllabus 2023

In all the government exams, generally the subjects in an examination are the same. Furthermore, the topics in these subjects are also very similar. However, there are some exceptions to this when the exam is very specific to the subject. As mentioned earlier, the syllabus of both stages is different.

DRDO MTS Apply Online

The application process for DRDO posts is very similar. Candidates need to follow every step mentioned below. Keep in mind, your application may get rejected if you missed any step and provided incomplete information. These are some of the steps to follow for the application process: 

Step 1: Visit the official website of DRDO MTC.

Step 2: You need to first register on that website for filling out the application form. Fill in all your details to complete the registration process. After you complete the registration, you will receive your credentials. 

Step 3: Log in with your credentials. You will then be redirected to the home page. You will see a notifications page and click on the post you wish to apply for. 

Step 4: Fill in the application form with all the information required. Please make sure you upload all the correct information. 

Step 5: You have to now upload the scanned document in the form. After uploading the document, submit the form.

Step 6: Pay the application fee in the next step for the final submission. This is the final step in the application process. Print out the application form and send the form to higher authorities.

Are the vacancies of DRDO MTS posts canceled?

Yes, according to the latest notifications by DRDO, the vacancies of MTS posts have been canceled. However, there are no latest updates available by the board. But still, there are many vacancies left for the post. 

Is the application fee different for everyone?

Yes, the application fee depends on which category you belong to. If you belong to general, or OBC, you have to pay the application fees. However, if you are SC/ST, you do need not to pay any fee.  

What is the exam pattern for a DRDO-MTS post?

The exam pattern of the DRDO-MTS post is:
TIER 1- Consists of a written exam which is then divided into 2 phases. These phases are called CBT.
TIER 2 –Again this is also a written test. The subjects include General Science, Mathematics, etc. 

What is the duration of the TIER 1 exam?

The duration of both the TIER 1 and TIER 2 exams is 90 minutes. However, the syllabus of both of these exams differs in terms of subjects.
