The full form of TS is ‘Telangana State.’ This vibrant state situated in South India is the 11th largest state of the nation. The capital of Telangana is Hyderabad. From the northeast part, Telangana is bordered by Chattisgarh, in the west by Andhra Pradesh, in the north by Maharashtra, and finally in the east by Karnataka. Previously it was Telangana State (TS), now it has been changed to Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) by the present government with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy.

Telangana was created on 2nd June 2014 from the northeastern parts of Andhra Pradesh. It has had the leadership of many leaders for centuries, but it was in 1948 that Telangana joined hands with Indian Union Territory. After that in 1956, it was merged with Andhra Pradesh only to get separated from it in the 21st century as the 29th state of the nation.
