The MPEG full form is Moving Picture Experts Group. It is a group established by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO) and the IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission). However,MJPEG is an alternative to MPEG launched by other companies. It is not the standard method. However, it helps in storing motion video.
