Bhagat Singh was born on 28 September 1907 to a Sikh family. He was one of the youngest Indian freedom fighters who gave his life for the freedom of the country. During his lifetime, Bhagat Singh was a bright student who actively participated in co-curricular activities. Additionally, he was also an active member of numerous revolutionary organizations. Due to his involvement in anti-British activities, he was eventually hanged by the British at the young age of 23 years.   1. He gave the popular slogan Inquilab Zindabad, which loosely translates to Long Live the Revolution.
  1. Bhagat Singh established the Naujawan Bharat Sabha, a socialist organization. It aimed to overthrow British rule in India.
