The full form of TGT is ‘Trained Graduate Teacher’. TGTs are teachers who have finished their teacher training. Although TGT is not well-known as a course, it is a graduate-level program in teacher preparation. A TGT (Trained Graduate Teacher) is someone who has earned their B.Ed. and is a graduate. What are the Eligibility Criteria to Become a TGT?

  • The elective level should have included at least one of the following subjects: English, mathematics, natural and physical sciences, and social sciences.
  • English and Hindi language proficiency
